We stayed for one night in December and absolutely loved this place. The hotel’s location is truly magical — right on the ocean, with long sandy stretches perfect for peaceful walks and wave watching. There are scenic walking paths with benches leading from the hotel to the shore, as well as BBQ areas and a small playground for kids. The hub and sauna were operational during our visit, though we didn’t use them this time. We traveled with our small dog and reserved a pet-friendly room with a patio. The room was just what we needed: spotless, modern, and surprisingly fresh-looking compared to many other hotels in BC. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches — a dog bowl, extra towel, and treat waiting for us on arrival. The room was well-equipped with a kettle, a coffee machine with good-quality pods, and a small fridge. It felt cozy, warm, and quiet — a perfect retreat after a day outdoors. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant, where the food and wine were delicious. Since we had our dog, we dined on the covered patio. It was lightly heated, which was fine but a bit chilly for a winter evening. Still, the overall experience made up for it. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it exceeded expectations — fresh, varied, and suitable for any diet. Overall, we had a lovely experience and felt genuinely welcomed. We’ll definitely recommend this hotel to friends and family and hope to return for a longer stay.

We stayed at this resort for three nights in early October and had a lovely experience overall. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with beautiful ocean views. The beds were cozy—though a bit on the soft side—and the bathroom was well-designed, with a roomy shower and plenty of counter space. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast buffet, which offered a good variety of options each morning. The outdoor hot tub had a beautiful view of the ocean, but unfortunately it wasn’t very hot, which was a bit disappointing after a long day of exploring. One note of caution: the first room we were given had a door that wouldn’t lock from the outside. After an eight-hour drive, we were eager to head out for dinner but couldn’t leave the room unsecured. Maintenance wasn’t immediately available, but the front desk handled it quickly and moved us to a different room. Everything was fine after that, but I’d recommend double-checking that your door locks properly upon arrival.

We stayed for two nights at the Best Western in Tofino and had a very pleasant experience. We were traveling with our dog, and the hotel was genuinely pet-friendly. Our room was on the ground floor with an exceptional view, and we found dog towels, bowls, and treats waiting for us. The sunset was beautiful, and the beach right in front of the hotel was perfect for walking our dog. The hotel also provided dog waste bags in the garden area, which was thoughtful. The breakfast buffet was enjoyable and offered a nice ocean view. Egide greeted us at the restaurant with a friendly smile and clearly explained how the buffet area was organized. We met him again at the front desk during checkout, and he asked about our stay with a very kind and professional attitude. His friendly service really made a difference. Overall, we were satisfied with our stay and would recommend this hotel, especially for people traveling with pets. We would be happy to return in the future.

We had the most beautiful and meaningful experience at Brown's Socialhouse, Tin Wis location and I truly don’t have enough words to express our gratitude. Our family came together during a very tender time… my aunt is currently in palliative care, and we wanted to gather somewhere special to celebrate and honour her life while we are still able to share these moments with her. From the second we arrived, the team made us feel not just welcomed, but genuinely cared for. There was such warmth and sincerity in every interaction, and it meant the world to us. The setting itself is breathtaking. Located right on the ocean at Tin Wis in Tofino, the restaurant overlooks the beach with sweeping water views that instantly calm your soul. We stepped outside to take in the fresh ocean air and relax by the fire pits, listening to the waves and watching the light shift over the water. It felt peaceful, grounding, and deeply beautiful … exactly the kind of place you want to be when you’re cherishing time with the people you love most. The food was absolutely phenomenal… truly the best dinner ever. Every dish was fresh, vibrant, and perfectly prepared. We ordered poke salmon bowls, a tofu dragon bowl, a grilled wild salmon bowl, calamari, and grilled cauliflower. Each plate was beautifully presented and packed with flavour. You could taste the quality and care in every bite. It wasn’t just a meal… it felt like an experience we were all sharing together. What made the evening unforgettable, though, was the service. Karthik, the manager, leads with such heart. I have never met someone so kind and so compassionate. Robbie, our server, was attentive, kind, and intuitively present!! And a huge thank you to Shane… his warmth and compassion did not go unnoticed. During such an emotional time for our family, their kindness created a space where we could laugh, reflect, cry a little, and celebrate my aunt’s life in a way that felt dignified and joyful. It’s rare to find a place that delivers incredible food, stunning views, and genuinely exceptional service … but this location truly has it all. The staff are some of the nicest people we’ve encountered, and they helped turn what could have been a heavy evening into something light-filled and beautiful. We will always remember this dinner. Thank you for helping our family create such a special memory during these tender days. It meant more than you know!

The room was spacious! The balcony was absolutely wonderful to watch the sunset, and to watch the waves! The property has areas you can watch the stars on a clear night! Superb location! There are saunas and hot tubs on site.

Great location. Left the door open to listen to the ocean. Well kept grounds, clean. Restaurant even was decent. Egide provided great assistance at the desk and made the stay better. We had a surf lesson booked with Surf sisters and the hotel was gracious enough to allow them to park in the lot since we were their only client that day and the weather was horrible. I understand the business part of that, so I really appreciate it, as it made our experience so much more convenient.

Beautiful resort right on the beach. We stayed in the executive suite which was overlooking the ocean and steps from the beach. We had a 1 bedroom suite which included a full kitchen, dining and living area with a gas fire place. Many amenities at the resort such as a sauna, hottub and watersport equipment to rent. There is a free breakfast and restaurant on site. The lobby has a coffee/latte machine. Very beautiful area. About 10 min drive to town. Great experience. I would stay again.
